Internal filters for modified cameras
We have an ever expanding choice of custom manufactured filters that are available for camera conversions. Here is our current offering:
Deep BW Infrared Filter
This is our deepest IR filter, it’s 50% pass frequency is 830nm and it would be equivalent to the Wratten 87C gelatin filter.
The Deep BW IR filter produces the strongest IR effect and since only IR light is passed through, the resulting images are monochrome with a proper white balance set. Since its cut off is so deep, less total light an reach the sensor and longer exposures would be required, usually 2+ stops extra would be needed.
