The world leader in infrared camera conversions
I first pursued photography in high school in the late 80’s, entering and placing in some national competitions. I went on to get a degree in photojournalism and industrial photography in college. Unfortunately, photography fell to the wayside when I changed careers in the early 2000’s.
Over the last few years I’ve replaced my old DSLR with a more modern one and fallen back into different types of photography including landscapes, night & low light photography, black & white, astrophotograghy and infrared. I also shoot a lot of film on a restored Canon AE-1 and hope to get an old Zeiss Ikon I have restored that my father gave me. In the near future, I hope to dive into medium format (both digital and film.).
Based in southern Indiana, I’ve made trips to New Mexico (including setting up to shoot the night skys atop a decommissioned nuclear missile silo) and several trips to the upper peninsula or Michigan to capture the northern lights as well as around southern Ohio. As family and schedules permit, I plan to return to Michigan to further pursue aurora borealis photography and astro in general.
