My name is Justin Piercy I live in Edmonton Alberta Canada. I didn’t really discover or realize how much I actually enjoyed photography until about 2010 but I have always had a camera around. When I was in high school my parents would give me those disposable box cameras not really telling me to capture anything in particular but I always had one with me and I’m glad I did as I now have a bunch of great photos of old friends and memories from that time in my life. I can still remember the day I was first excited about photography, I was using an old olympus digital point and shoot camera and I took a picture of a friend of mine and even with that tiny little sensor it created a great photo with excellent depth of field. That photo with the blurry background started me on my photo journey. I saved up and bought myself a Nikon D80 (which I later had converted to IR by life pixel)
I enjoy taking photos of Abandoned houses/vehicles/structures and churches around Alberta and I like to challenge myself to see these things differently than those who have visited before me.
