I love artistry, and I love photography. I specialize in high-resolution, high dynamic-range infrared (IR) photography, and especially color IR of late. What I love about the medium is that even familiar scenes become magical when viewed through the IR spectrum.
My photography business was initially built between 2002 and 2007, focusing on hand-colored IR prints for galleries, art fairs, and private client investments in California, Missouri and Michigan. With the cresting of the digital revolution high-quality IR film was discontinued, and I turned my attention to earning graduate degrees in complexity theory and philosophy. But in 2015, I invested in specialized digital equipment to shoot IR again.
I am interested in almost every possible subject matter – as I hope the variety in the images on my website reflects. And I thank you for your interest!!
