By profession, I’m a process technologist from The Netherlands with a working history in the field of displays and optics. I discovered IR photography around 2009. Inspired by Ansel Adams and thanks to LifePixel, I started with a converted Nikon D70 (Deep B&W filter). A few years later I had my Nikon D300 converted to IR with a Super Color IR filter. IR pictures create a particular atmosphere that I’m fond of. It’s a great way of expressing my creativity, especially because it offers limitless possibilities in post-production.
