You read that right! Here are a few ways you can get a free camera conversion through Life Pixel, the world leader in infrared camera conversions.
Newsletter
This is the easiest way to get yourself a free conversion. Just sign up for our newsletter! Every month we randomly select one of our subscribers for a free camera conversion up to a $900 value! This applies to infrared conversions, UV, full spectrum, h-alpha, NDVI, and AA filter removal. Use the form at the bottom of any page on our website to sign up and you’re done! This requires almost no work on your part. Also, signing up for our newsletter will allow you to receive sale offers only available to our subscribers. Even if you don’t win the free conversion this month, you will automatically be entered into next month’s drawing. Good luck!
The Life Pixel Affiliate Program
Through our affiliate program, you earn a commission for each sale that is generated through a special link that will be connected to your affiliate account. You start out with 5% from every sale made through your link. Over time, that percentage can go all the way up to 20%! Just to put that into perspective, that means that with every sale of a full frame sensor camera conversion (which costs $350) through your link, you can potentially receive $70 for yourself! A few sales through your link and you will be able to get a conversion without even adding a cent from your own pocket. Here is a link to our Affiliate Program page where you can get more details of how this works and sign up for your affiliate account!
Write for Life Pixel
If you are passionate about writing, I have another way for you to get your free conversion. Becoming a contributor on our website has a lot of benefits. Our website has a monthly audience of 150,000-300,000, writing an article in our blog is a great way to expose yourself and your work to hundreds of thousands of people. Another advantage of being a contributor is the credit you receive towards a future conversion for every article that you write. A few articles and you may have enough saved up towards a conversion! Visit our Write for Life Pixel page once you have decided to become a contributor. You can shoot an email to noahashurov@lifepixel.com if you have any questions or article(s) you would like to submit.
In Conclusion
We have created quite a few ways for you to get a free conversion. Some methods require more work than others. Our customers use all four of the ways listed above. That shows that it is both practical and realistic to get a free conversion using any of the methods above. These programs are in place so that everyone has the opportunity to get their camera converted. It is also a good way to put some extra cash in your pockets and get your name exposed! Like I’ve stated before, there are many benefits to doing the methods shown above. Take advantage of them and you could get yourself a free conversion!

Looking forward to receiving your newsletter and either buying or getting a camera conversion. I currently have a Sony A7RII I am considering converting. I am researching all the awesome information you have provided so I can make an informed decision. I have been photographing the Milkyway for a few years but no matter the filter I use I cannot get the red emission nebulae’s to show up. I am so inspired by other photographers beautiful Mikyway shots with the red nebulae showing I really want to achieve these types of shots and hope you can help me with my goals. Thank you so much.

I like your wall of shame video and have shared it with several photo groups on line. It is the main reason I’m going with LifePixel when I do the conversion. I would like to know if there is an advantage of using a D300s over a D300. I have both cameras and do not use either of them at the present time.

There is no real advantage between these two models, both convert over to IR very well!
