New Site is Now Live
After months of hard work the new site is up and running. We’ve added lots of great features, new logo, improved navigation and a new shopping system.

Infrared photography contests
LifePixel’s Infrared Photo of the Month Awards started on May 1st. Each month we award one winner a FREE conversion of their choice – the public votes on the photos, photo with most votes at the end of the month wins the prize!
Photography galleries
The galleries section has been expanded, we added 3 new categories including time-lapse, cinematography and stop motion galleries. As well as featured artists, were you can also submit your work for consideration.
Free shipping & optional insurance
We completely revamped our shopping system and that includes providing Free Shipping to all US states and all other shipping speeds are now calculated in real time based on location. Instead of including insurance in the shipping prices, which not everyone may want we have made shipping insurance an optional add-on.

You may have noticed our much more active Facebook page and blog, that’s thanks to Dan Wampler. Dan joined our team a few months ago and is our official blog author and social media manager.

Recently had the first opportunity to experiment with my newly converted D700 at a a Civil War reenactment in central OR. Lots to learn at the shooting end and the processing end. Lots of fun. A great conversion.
