If you haven’t tried the new features associated with Photoshop 2021, you really should. The new Sky Replacement feature is so impressive.
If you’ve ever done a sky replacement on your own, you know the process can be arduous and often frustrating.
Adobe has incorporated an AI that makes the process quite easy. It is almost one click and done.
Let me show you.
Here’s a Super Color image processed with the aerochrome look. The sky is nice, but let’s see what we can do with it,
Now lets go to Edit, Sky Replacement
Then you will see this window appear
Then click the drop down arrow by the picture of the sky to see all the choices you have for sky replacement.
And this is the cool part. just click on the sky you want, and it instantly changes. You can also adjust the edge. brightness, and scale for the sky.
That’s it! It does the rest.
And how does it look? See for yourself.
It is so easy and I think this may be the best thing added to Phtotshop since content aware.
Here’s a few more.
With this one, I desaturated the sky after replacement
I thought this one was exceptional
In the original image, there was nothing but fog in the sky. The after image is great.
Now here’s the thing, after you try a few images you’ll realize that this isn’t perfect and won’t always work perfectly.
There are adjustment sliders in the effects window that help, but it isn’t a 100 effective. But, when it does it is impressive.
Now it’s your turn, . . . go try it now.
